Yes! Summer in The County is truly bustling, but you can’t beat the tranquility of a crisp fall morning and the changing colours of the leaves. Winter brings all-white magic with the lake freezing over – a great time to pause and reflect. Explore the less crowded beaches and Millennium Trail on foot or snowshoes. Visit the wineries and enjoy no lineups or embrace the German concept of “Gemütlichkeit” – getting warm and snuggly indoors, with a glass of wine or hot chocolate, while watching the snow fall outside.
