Start your day with an espresso or cappuccino. Perhaps you prefer the intimacy of our dining room or the big view from the kitchen table. During the summer months, feel free to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine on the deck. You may even want to have your morning cuppa down on the dock.
To get your day off to the right start, Susan offers muesli, home-made granola by sister-in-law Sue, fresh seasonal fruit and Greek yogurt. You have a choice of apple or orange juice, and of course, water and tea. Enjoy this leisurely start to your day while your host Susan prepares one of her signature dishes.
Eggs Benedict is an all time favourite, served on toasted English muffins with generous slices of peameal bacon, topped with either Hollandaise or Bernaise sauce. Eggs come from “happy hens” just up the road at Thyme Again Gardens.
Other choices include tomato-zucchini quiche, scrumptious pancakes served with bacon and locally produced maple syrup, or overnight blueberry French toast.
If you let me know in advance of any food allergies or specific food preferences (gluten or dairy free), I will do my very best to accommodate.
Breakfast is usually served between 8 and 9am, but I am totally flexible. Just let me know the night before if you prefer an early start to your day or if you prefer to sleep in.
Check-out time is 11am.
