Hello, my name is Susan and I look forward to welcoming you to our home on Wellers Bay, now aptly named "The Empty Nest". Over the past few years I have given serious consideration as to what I would like to do in this "encore" stage of my life.
I love my home and I enjoy sharing it with others. I’m always excited when company’s coming as it gives me a good reason to make the house extra pretty. It’s the anticipation of sharing this beautiful place and all that this area has to offer. The charms of Prince Edward County enticed us to move here after living in Germany for several years, where I learned to speak the language.
At The Empty Nest, we have warm sunny days for swimming and lazy afternoons for reading a book or exploring a gallery. When hunger strikes we often head down to one of several excellent restaurants – some wineries even serve wood-fired pizzas. Sometimes we'll bring home a bottle of local wine and finish our day watching the sunset over Wellers Bay.
My interests include tennis, pilates, yoga, reading, walking and most recently, painting. I am well connected in the community to local artists, photographers and a nearby riding stable. I enjoy meeting people and introducing them to the Bay of Quinte region.

"One of the most beautiful and relaxing places I have ever visited! Susan is such an accommodating host by making you feel very at home with the little touches she leaves in every room. She provides a full breakfast service with her lovely egg poacher contraption and caters to your coffee needs with her wonderful espresso machine. Not to mention, her water pressure in her shower is amazing!!" - Stacey
